La01 Stepthrough
The La01 is the perfect city bike for those who enjoy riding comfortably and effortlessly through the urban jungle. Solid and well-braked, it can safely and smoothly handle cobblestones and tram tracks.
The geometry of the La01 is based on the classic 26″ MTB, modified for better performance on urban roads. The Stepthrough version features a low‑step frame.
The base model comes standard with a very comfortable gel saddle and a swept-back handlebar, allowing for a relaxed riding posture without putting strain on the upper body, such as the arms and shoulders.
What immediately sets the La01 apart are its massive 26‑inch “balloon” tires, which, despite their size and thanks to excellent mechanics, make the bike very smooth-riding while providing protection against the roughness of urban surfaces. This city bike is undaunted by cobblestones, tram tracks, curbs, or potholes.
The frame is specially designed to accommodate the most useful accessories for urban cyclists, such as baskets and child seats, making the La01 the perfect city bike.
The frame is made from chrome-molybdenum steel tubing and welded by the finest Italian craftsmen. The La01 Stepthrough frame comes in a single size, suitable for individuals approximately 150 to 175 cm tall.
The frame geometry is modified in the chainstay length and fork rake to improve steering and ease of handling without compromising maneuverability. The ideal weight distribution is 80%–95% on the pelvis.
The La01 is equipped with two powerful V‑Brakes, a track crankset with a 1 1/8″ chain, and industrially manufactured wheels, carefully balanced in our workshop before assembly.
Optional: 6-speed Shimano gear with anti-drop system.
