La Ciclistica Milano Bicycles

Yes, La Ciclistica Milano bicycles are produced by us and customized for each customer.

Our frames have been designed and refined over the years, and are welded exclusively in Italy. Afterwards, our bicycles are hand-assembled in our workshop, where each component is fitted piece by piece according to the customizations chosen by each customer.

For this reason, every La Ciclistica Milano bike is one of a kind.

Choosing the right bicycle can be a challenging task, and we know this very well.

Helping you create the bicycle that’s right for you is our mission, as is guiding you in selecting the right model and setup.

Before visiting our shop, we recommend imagining yourself on your new bike. Where are you riding? What route are you taking? Do you need any accessories (e.g., child seat, travel bag, basket…)?

All of our bicycles feature a steel frame, which we consider the best material for a durable bike intended for everyday use.

The tubing of our steel frames is dimensioned to guarantee stability while keeping the weight to a minimum for high performance.

Finally, the choice of components and accessories causes the average weight of our bicycles to range from 11 to 13 kg. Regardless of the overall weight of your bike, all our models are quiet and smooth-riding.

We don’t yet produce bicycles for young children, but we haven’t forgotten about them.

For bicycles, which we refer to as “growth bikes,” we rely on Italian manufacturers and extend our warranty to include the models from our partners as well.

Customizations and Production

The time required to produce a custom frame and assemble the tailored setup is typically around two months.

Each of our bicycles is designed with a specific setup and purpose in mind. Currently, only the La01 Classic and Stepthrough models feature tires with a diameter exceeding two inches in width.

The bicycle’s setup is always chosen together with the customer, using the unique characteristics of our frames as a starting point. However, we do not make changes to frame dimensions or assembly standards, and we do not work with carbon or aluminum frames.

Certainly, we can ship our models virtually anywhere in the world. Shipping costs, including transport, insurance, and customs fees, are entirely the responsibility of the buyer.

Maintenance and Support

Our bicycles are built with high-quality, durable, and long-lasting materials and components.

Nonetheless, we recommend periodic check-ups of your La Ciclistica Milano bicycle at our workshop. Our mechanics know how to properly tune your bike to optimize its performance on the road.

The best deterrent against would‑be thieves is to securely lock the bicycle to an immovable object using an appropriate lock. For this reason, we have selected the best locks on the market—don’t hesitate to ask our mechanics.

Additionally, if that isn’t enough, there are currently insurance companies that offer coverage against theft or vandalism.
