La01Classic
La01 is the perfect city bike for those who love to ride comfortably and carefree through the urban jungle. Solid, well-braked, it is capable of handling cobblestones and tram tracks safely and comfortably.
The La01 geometry is derived from the classic 26-inch MTB, modified for better performance on urban roads. The frame in the Classic version has a straight top tube.
The base model features a very comfortable gel saddle as standard and a swept-back handlebar, thus allowing a very relaxed riding posture without load on the upper body areas such as arms and shoulders.
What distinguishes La01 at first glance are the massive 26-inch balloon-style tires which, despite their size and thanks to excellent mechanics, make the bicycle very smooth and at the same time protected against urban road roughness. This city bicycle is not afraid of cobblestones, tram tracks, curbs or potholes.
The frame is specifically designed to accommodate the most useful accessories for urban cyclists, such as baskets and child seats, making La01 the perfect city bike.
The frame is made of chromium-molybdenum steel tubes and is welded by the best Italian craftsmen. La01 Classic is available in three sizes suitable for people from approximately 160 to 190 cm.
The frame geometry is modified in the chainstay length and fork rake to improve handling and ease of riding without compromising maneuverability. The ideal weight distribution is 80% – 95% on the saddle.
La01 is braked with two powerful V-Brakes, features a track crankset with 1 1/8″ chain and industrially produced wheels, expertly balanced in our workshop before assembly.
